Today, my friends and I had a mini roadtrip to Tanjung Bungah, Pulau Pinang. We went to join some kind of activity for National Day that had been organised by YMSC. Our main agenda was to repaint the longest Jalur Gemilang mural which once has its record as the country’s longest Jalur Gemilang in the Malaysia Book of Records since 2003. (I guess) except Piqah who was looking for some hot boys to be her new boyfriend. Ihiks.

0500: I grumpily woke up to the sound of my phone's alarm. I do not wake up at 5.00 am everyday, mind you. I actually set multiple alarms from 6.30 am to 10.00 am to wake me up. But today my body decided to wake up at 5. Boleh la tu.

0600: Took a shower, finished dressing up + everyday minimal make up (just a foundation), ate breakfast and suddenly I had a phone call from Piqah said that she is already waiting infront of my rent house. I look at my phone and it was stated that the time was 6.45am. I jumped from my seat and rushing out to Piqah cause I was 15 minutes late from our actual plan. There were 4 of us headed out from Kulim to Politeknik Seberang Perai since the bus (which is gonna bring us to the tanjung bunga) will be departed from there.

0700: LONG ASS RIDE TO PSP! Haida and Tiqah followed behind me that was riden by Piqah. We safely arrived at PSP at 7.15. There was Aina and his boyfriend (Irfan) waiting for us. This is the first time I met Irfan as a person. From my point of view he is quiet and cool kind of person. He is crrently studying at PSP and had been realationship with Aina since they were in school. We had fun in the bus-- sharing about our crush on the instagram, singing to songs on the earphone and teased Aina and Irfan. Hahahaa

1320: Yas finally we arrived at Tanjung Bungah. There was a lot of people. Media people pun datang. Lolz. After sign in to that place, (unfortunately my name was not in the list etsk etsk) we ate bihun goreng and roti bom that had been prepared by the organisation as our breakfast. Then, ada la acara pembukaan & perasmian by menteri penang. A little briefing and I think we started to repaint the jalur gemilang mural at 10 something. Idek.

This is the highlight of the stories, it make me laugh when I think about it hahaa..My friends and I was painting the mural and suddenly it start to raining. All of us ran quickly to protect ourself from the rain. The red colour that we had been paint on the mural start to fade like a mascara and become a mess. After waiting like an excruiting minutes, the rain stop and we decided to continue. But the bright day was not last long, it started to rain again and again. Lots of people seen so devastated, especially Haida. But we would not lose our spirit easily. ceyh. After waiting and hoping the problem got settled and the rain will stop.... our hopes brighten like the sun. So we happily continue to repaint the mural until it finished at 4pm. (At last) phew. Our hard work pay off when lots of people especially the one in the car gave us applaud and a thumbs up sign. Some motorcyclist also scream merdeka! Merdeka! at us. Hahahaa

1830 (roughly): The activity finished and since it was still early and we needed to get our day's worth in Penang, we decided to visit a beach at Gurney. Besides I want to buy a nike air force 1 shoes at Gurney plaza. Unfortunately the shoes had been sold out. Sobbing ToT

2030: Looking at donuts in the gurney plaza made me hungry. We went out to go buy food and drinks but we were introduced to a VERY large crowd in front of the mall. There are a lot of food courts and the only problem was to find the halal one. At last, we managed to find some halal food court. Aina and Irfan order the most delicious pasembor I have eaten (they gave me a little bit to taste lulz) the best okay the best. I ordered Char Kuey Teow and it was amaaaazing.
2200: To end the day, we decided to catch a feri to enjoy the night brezze and view. We decided to take a bus rapid to bring us to the PSP but its already late at night. So, we had to take a taxi. We split into two teams in order to save the cost. Tepat pukol 12.00 while I was on the motorcycle with piqah (headed out to Kulim) I can clearly heard people scream the countdown and yes both of us enjoy the fireworks on the motorcycle. But I constanly scolding Piqah to watch the road since she is the one who is riding. Kih kih.


0006: Sampai rumah sewa!

I had fun going out with my friends. Sometimes we just gotta let go of our problems and relax with our friends. I'm gonna cherish these moments I've had with them. Rasa macam taknak habis diploma la pulak.

I was figuring out a pseudonym for my facebook account since I stood up for the term "never reveal your real name on social networks" (screw that term hahahha) My ever brilliant cousin suggested name 'Godric Minho' and so the Gminho started. Well, I continued the godric minho disease by naming my name as gminho.
